    Rumours were going abuzz that Harrison Ford would reprise his role as Han Solo in theStar Warssequel but now there is something more hotter cooking up in Ford’s life. The 70-year-old actor has been signed up to play a veteran news anchor,TomBrokawin theAdamMcKay-helmedcomedy,Anchorman 2. The much-anticipated sequelto 2004'sAnchorman: The Legend of Ron BurgundystarsWill Ferrell,Steve Carell,Paul Rudd,Christina ApplegateandDavidKoechner, as well as a new arrivalKristen Wiig.

    The film will be jointly produced by Ferrell and McKay, who have also written the screenplay and it is expected to on floors later this month in Atlanta. The other producers who have joined the board areJuddApatowandKevinMessick. No further details regarding the plot ofAnchorman 2have been provided yet.
