A stage production titled Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will be played on London’s West End in 2016. Daniel Radcliffe, who is known for playing the young wizard, recently revealed that he will not be reprising his role as Harry Potter. The play will be written by Jack Thorne.

Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will follow Albus, Harry’s youngest child. Daniel spoke about the play at the Watch What Happens Live TV show and said, “I'm getting asked a lot, 'Would you play him?' and I'm like, 'No.' Because I've done it. But it would be very weird to see someone else play him”.

The play will be divided into two parts and will be based on the story by author of the novel series J.K. Rowling. It will include 30 actors whose names have not been revealed yet. On the other hand Daniel will be seen in Victor Frankstein where he plays the role of Igor.
