Hayley Atwell Joins Winnie The Pooh Movie 'Christopher Robin'

British actress Hayley Atwell is known to have starred in many Marvel movies such as Captain America: The First Avenger, Avengers: Age of Ultron and Captain America: The Winter Soldier. The actress is also known for her work in stage productions such as A View from the Bridge. It is being said that the actress has joined the star cast of Disney’s movie featuring the famous cartoon bear ‘Winnie-the-pooh’.

The movie will be titled as ‘Christopher Robon’. Ewan McGregor will be portraying the role of Christopher Robin and will be acting alongside Atwell. The movie is helmed by Marc Forster and the storyline revolves around Christopher Robin. In the movie, Robin, which is portrayed by Ewan McGregor is shown as a young adult. Robin seems to have lost his imagination and is shown deeply committed to his work and not paying attention to his family. The storyline changes when Pooh arrives in Robin’s life, once again.

The character of Christopher Robin was created by late English author A.A. Milne. The character featured in two books 'Winnie-the- Pooh' from 1926 and 'The House at Pooh Corner' from 1928. The story of the novels are said to be inspired by the author’s child and his stuffed teddy bear toy.
