Helen Mirren Didn’t Smile, Thought She’ll Look Stupid

Veteran actress Helen Mirren, in an interview to a leading UK website said something completely bizarre. The Queen actress said that she didn’t used to smile as she believed that she looked ‘stupid’. She further explained the reason behind, why she thought that way.

I couldn't smile before that, I thought I looked stupid when I smiled", said Helen Mirren. She added, "And then I learnt the power of a smile and funnily enough when you smile, even if you don't feel like smiling, you immediately feel a bit better. Life feels a little bit better when you're smiling”.

Helen further said that it was not before her mid-thirties that she tried to learn the smile. The 71-year-old English actress has worked in several classic flicks, including Eye In the Sky, Woman In Gold and Caligula. She would next feature in The Fate of the Furious, starring Vin Diesel, Jason Statham and Dwayne Johnson, in lead characters.
