    Angelina Jolie has also joined the bandwagon of celebrities voicing their opinion against Donald Trump and his political measures. Angelina spoke about the 120 day ban on refugees and the indefinite ban on Syrians. She wrote in an op-ed published in The New York Times that refugees are victims of terrorism themselves and it is wrong to brand them as terrorists.

    “Refugees are men, women and children caught in the fury of war, or the cross hairs of persecution. Far from being terrorists, they are often the victims of terrorism themselves”, the actress said. She added, “Americans have shed blood to defend the idea that human rights transcend culture, geography, ethnicity and religion”, as she explained how proud she was to live in a country that used to be welcoming to people in need.

    She also said that the refugee situation should be handled by looking at facts and not giving in to fear. The 41-year-old went on to say that as she is the mother of six children, she wants the country to be safe for them, as well as, for children from all nations. The actress surely has a diplomatic opinion aimed at the welfare of people who need help.

    On the work front, the actress was seen in a video promoting her latest directorial ‘First They Killed My Father: A Daughter of Cambodia Remembers’ which will be released on Netflix.
