Here’s What Made Daniel Craig Do Next James Bond Movie...And No It Wasn't Money

After starring in four James Bond movies, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Skyfall and Spectre, actor Daniel Craig was done with James Bond. The British actor earlier said that he would not return as a spy for the next James Bond film. However, he was lured to play his part.

Makers of the film promised him that he would make history by being the longest reigning actor to play James Bond. The 49-year-old agreed to do the next part of the franchise after the makers convinced him that he would beat Sir Roger Moore’s tenure. Roger Moore held the role for 12 long years from 1973 till 1985. During that time period, he acted in seven James Bond movies.

According to a report, a source was quoted saying, "MGM and (Craig) had not spoken for over a year. Daniel said he was done, he meant it. She said he wasn't, she meant it. Sure, the financial deal was interesting. He was very proud of that (13 year) milestone."

The next instalment of James Bond will release next year, making Daniel Craig the only actor to hold the record for 13 years.
