Here’s Why Cameron Diaz Gave Films A Break

American actress-comedian-producer and former fashion model Cameron Diaz has been on a sabbatical from film industry for long. She was last seen in Will Gluck’s musical comedy-drama ‘Annie’ (2014). The film also starred Quvenzhané Wallis, Jamie Foxx, Rose Byrne and Bobby Cannavale. The movie was produced by Village Roadshow Pictures and Will Smith's Overbrook Entertainment for Sony Pictures' Columbia Pictures.

Recently, Diaz revealed why she decided to take some time off from films. The actress divulged that she wanted to pay attention to her personal life. Moreover, she was tired of travelling every day to the sets. “I just went, ‘I can't really say who I am to myself’, which is a hard thing to face up to”, Diaz said at the Goop Wellness Summit.

“I felt the need to make myself whole”, Diaz added. The Other Woman actress appeared on a panel alongside Tory Burch, Miranda Kerr and Nicole Richie. Actress-singer-comedian-food writer Gwyneth Paltrow served as the moderator.
