Here’s Why Emma Watson Doesn’t Let Her Private Life Out In Public

Unlike other celebs who try hard not to make their private life public, actress Emma Watson despite being so successful manages to keep her life private. Watson doesn’t speak about her social life or who she is dating. Well, there is a reason why the English actress does not discuss about her personal life.

The 27-year-old actress who rose to stardom after playing Hermione Granger in Harry Potter film series is very concerned about her private identity as she gets overwhelmed with attention. While talking to Jessica Chastain in her new Interview Magazine, the Beauty and the Beast star said that gaining popularity at such a young age taught her to separate her personal life from public. She also said that keeping her private life out of public’s eye will help her focus more on her job.

"Daniel (Radcliffe), Rupert (Grint), and I were kids when we got cast in this fairy-tale series, and what happened to us was kind of a fantasy story in itself,” said Emma.  She added, "So the story of my life has been of public interest, which is why I've been so passionate about having a private identity. When I step into a character, people have to be able to suspend their disbelief; they have to be able to divorce me from that girl. And not having everyone know every single intimate detail of my entire life is part of me trying to protect my ability to do my job well."
