Here’s Why Emma Watson Wouldn’t Talk About Her Boyfriend

Beauty and the Beast Emma Watson doesn’t mind talking about feminism, Harry Potter, sustainable fashion or her interest for books, but the star keeps mum over her boyfriend, William. She has been seen several times last year, with ‘Mack’ and on being asked about this tech entrepreneur, the actress said, ‘I want to be consistent’. In an interview with Vanity Fair, the Regression star talked why she doesn’t like talking about her man.

"I can't talk about my boyfriend in an interview and then expect people not to take paparazzi pictures of me walking around outside my home. You can't have it both ways", said Emma. She went on by saying, “I've noticed, in Hollywood, who you're dating gets tied up into your film promotion and becomes part of the performance and the circus".


The actress added that she wouldn’t appreciate if her personal life plays part in movie promotion and paparazzi intrusion. Watson admitted that she’s nothing like a typical celebrity and it makes her nervous. However, she also agreed that with age, she has understood many things and doesn’t take everything at the face value.
