Hilary Swank and Tom Wilkinson to star in Mick Jackson’s Denial

Hilary Swank and Tom Wilkinson are set to star in Denial, reported by TheWrap. The movie is the big screen adaptation of Deborah E. Lipstadt’s book ‘History on Trial: My Day in Court With a Holocaust Denier’. Swank will be seen essaying the role of Lipstadt in the film, while Wilkinson plays the role of a lawyer.

The book narrates Lipstadt’s legal battle against David Irving. Irving was accused of libel when Lipstadt declared him a Holocaust denier. The story focuses upon how Lipstadt and her legal team managed to prove the truth that the Holocaust did happen and how facts were manipulated by David Irving, to hide the truth.

The movie will be produced by Gary Foster and Russ Krasnoff under the banner of Krasnoff/Foster Entertainment along with Shoebox Films. The film will be helmed by The Bodyguard director Mick Jackson. Participant Media have developed the project with the help of BBC Films.
