Hilary Swank has decided to take some time off from acting and spend it with her father. Recently, Stephen Swank, Hilary's father, underwent a lung transplant. Stephen was a chief master sergeant in the Oregon Air National Guard. Hilary, the two-time Oscar winner, has turned down movie roles to be with her father.

Hilary said, “There is nothing I want to do more other than being with my dad in this time of need. And if it wasn’t me taking care of him, I think I would always look back and regret that opportunity to be able to take care of him and help him through this extraordinary time”. She believes that spending time with her father and having hearty conversations will be part of his healing process.

Hilary Swank is known for movies like Million Dollar Baby and Boys Don't Cry. She will be starring in Alejandro González Iñárritu's series, The One Percent. Ed Helms, The Hangover star, will also be seen alongside Hilary.
