    Hollywood remembers Richard Zanuck



    To pay their tributes to noted Hollywood producer Richard Zanuck, a host of Hollywood big-wigs gathered together in Beverly Hills on Monday night. The late producer, who is renowned for making films likeJawsandAlice in Wonderland,died in July this year at the age of 77.


    Some of those who attended an event at the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences held to honour Zanuck’s memory were Steven Spielberg, Ron Howard and Michael Mann. A new documentary about Zanuck, calledDon’t Say No Until I Finish Talking: The Story of Richard Zanuckwas also screened at the event. Speaking about the memorial piece, Spielberg said, “What you are about to see was never intended to be what it has become. It was never intended to be a memorial to Richard’s contribution to the arts and the contributions to his family. It most likely could have been the last film he ever saw."
