Homers Simpson’s Duff Beer Coming to Stores

Duff Beer is a fictional brand of beer that appeared in the animated series ‘The Simpsons’. Homer Simpson, the lead character, often went to Moe’s Tavern to enjoy a glass of Duff Beer. According to Fox, Duff Beer will be available in Chile starting this week. 

Since the shows inception in 1989, the beer has gained quite an appreciation from viewers all over. President of Fox's consumer products division, Jeffrey Godsick said, “Once you see enough piracy, you’re faced with two choices. One is deciding to fight it, and the other is deciding to go out [into the market] with it. It’s a premium lager. It’s got a very good balance of flavour and refreshment to it. It’s fairly deep golden in color. It’s got a hint of fruit to it. It’s got a caramel aromatic to it”.

Previously, Duff Beer became a real brand without the permission of the show creator Matt Groening. Since then it has gone through several legal battles with varying results. This time the beer brand will hit stores officially.
