Hollywood hunk Hugh Jackman recently appeared on the TV program Dr. Oz during which he confirmed that Wolverine 3 will be his final project as Logan. The untitled film is slated to begin shooting until 2016 and the project will hit theaters on March 3, 2017.

Jackman said, “It just felt like it was the right time to do it. And let’s be honest, 17 years. I never thought in a million years it would last, so I’m so grateful to the fans for the opportunity of playing it. … I kind of have in my head what we’re going to do in this last one. It just feels like this is the perfect way to go out.”

Jackman first appeared as Wolverine in 2000. The actor said in an interview with the podcast Happy Sad Confused in late April that an appearance there wasn't out of the question."I have been speaking with the guys and I am not at liberty to tell exactly what’s going on. Which is largely framing my answer here,"  Jackman says on the podcast. "But there’s still a lot unknown, actually, about that. What I do know is there are some very exciting things about integrating the whole X-Men world, including the Wolverine movie. There’s some really cool things going on."
