Hugh Jackman in negotiations to reprise Wolverine in a sequel

Hugh Jackman is reportedly in talks to strike a deal to enact Wolverine in a new film in the series. The actor, who recently gave one of his best performances in Prisoners, is said to be negotiating to reprise the role in a follow up to The Wolverine.

It is also being said that James Mangold may sign an agreement with 20th Century Fox to return as the director in the latest X-Men project. Presently the filmmaker is working on the script of a film which is a production venture by Lauren Shuler Donner. The Wolverine, back in July, fared well at the box office and it also emerged as the second highest-grossing X-Men film of all time. Recently Jackman said that he was not sure enough if he would play Wolverine again in future after X-Men: Days of Future Past get released.
