The Hunger Games: Catching Fire to hit Indian theatres on November 29

The much-awaited and highly speculated sequel to Jennifer Lawrence's The Hunger Games, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, has got its release date in India. The Indian audience will get the opportunity to watch Katniss Everdeen (Lawrence) and Peeta Mellark (Josh Hutcherson) once again on the big screen from November 29.

The Hunger Games: Catching Fire is a dark adventure film which is based on Suzanne Collins' The Hunger Games trilogy. The film, also starring Liam Hemsworth, will be released in India by Universal Pictures in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.The sequel will follow the story of Katniss and Peeta after the first instalment.Katniss has come back home safely after winning the 74th Annual Hunger Games along with fellow Peeta Mellark.This winning means that they have to turn around and leave their family and close friends behind and embark on a "Victor's Tour" of the districts.After the journey begins Katniss becomes aware that a revolution is seething but the Capitol is still under absolute control asPresident Snow gets prepared for the 75th Annual Hunger Games, The Quarter Quell. This competition would mean a huge change in the destiny of Panem forever. The first part in the franchise grossed USD 700 million at the box office overseas.
