The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 Gets Official Trailer And Poster

Lionsgate has released an official trailer and poster for the forthcoming second part of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. The movie will be the last part of The Hunger Games franchise based on the novels by Suzanne Collins. Jennifer Lawrence will reprise her role as Katniss Everdeen, the tribute from District 12.

The trailer shows a recap of the first movie, how it all started and what made Katniss a.k.a Mockingjay the hope for the people of district 12. This time the Mockingjay will take on the autocratic Capitol in an attempt to grant the people their freedom. Without spilling the beans about what’s to come, the trailer simply provides an intimate character profile so the audience can connect with and appreciate Katniss.

Directed by Francis Lawrence, The Hunger Games: Mockingjay – Part 2 will hit theatres on November 20. The screenplay is written by Peter Craig and Danny Strong. The cast includes Woody Harrelson, Elizabeth Banks, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Jeffrey Wright, Willow Shields, Sam Claflin, Jena Malone and Donald Sutherland.
