I always wanted to play character parts, says Harrison Ford

Actor Harrison Ford is a really popular star but he never wanted to be this. The actor has revealed a fact about himself that he always wished to be a character actor but fortunately he became a ‘star’. Ford quoted, “It was never my intention to be a leading man, I always wanted to play character parts.”

The 71-year-old actor also doesn’t like to be termed as a bankable actor. He said, “I give a shit about the work I do. I give a shit about my investment in something, how hard I work. I’ve said this before: This is a service occupation and you want to leave the impression that your customer, your audience, was not taken for granted.”

Harrison has also said that he loves acting and he really enjoys doing it. He stated, “If acting was hard, I wouldn’t do it. I do because it’s fun. That doesn’t mean that there’s not a lot of hard work but the actual acting part has always been pure fun for me.” The actor will next be seen in The Expendables 3.
