Feminism is defined by various meanings and interpreted differently. Some women are uncomfortable with the label and Sarah Jessica Parker seems to be one of them. The actress, who was the poster girl for feminism, believes that she doesn't 'qualify' for the label.

“I am not a feminist. I don't think I qualify”, Sarah told Marie Claire magazine, adding, “I believe in women and I believe in equality, but I think there is so much that needs to be done that I don't even want to separate it anymore. I'm so tired of separation. I just want people to be treated equally”.

"I would like all of that nonsense to end. I would like women to get paid for the value of their contributions, not by old-fashioned ideas about gender”, the 51-year-old actress added. Sarah is all set to star in ‘Divorce’. Created by Sharon Horgan, the upcoming television comedy series will premiere on October 9.
