Idris Elba plays baddie in Star Trek 3?

British actor, producer, singer, rapper and DJ, Idris Elba is in early talks to  join the cast of Star Trek 3, which will be directed by Justin Lin. Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho and Anton Yelchin are all set to reprise their roles in the sci-fi franchise when production begins in June.

According to sources, Elba’s role is being kept under wraps. Early rumours suggest that Klingons would be the main villains in this movie. In-demand Elba will next be seen in Avengers: Age of Ultron, The Jungle Book and Bastille Day. Simon Pegg and Doug Jung are writing the script for the July 2016 release.
