Inside Out outshines box office with $91.1 million collection

‘Inside Out’ has managed to match up the levels of last week release ‘Jurassic World’. This Disney film minted $91.1 million in its debut. Nabbing $41 million overseas, the movie has by far earned $132 million worldwide. This makes ‘Inside Out’ the biggest debut to date as an original Pixar film.

Jurassic World became the second movie to cross another $100 million mark in just two weeks, after The Avengers, which made $103.1 million after second week.  However, Inside Out takes second place after The Avengers, as the “not based on anything” movie. Jurassic World made $102 millions in this weekend.

Inside Out has done better than expectation and the movie is likely to be the biggest hit of the summers for the franchise.  Not only that, Disney has another movie lined up ‘Minions’ that is again expected to crash all the records. ‘Minions’ is all set to hit the theatres on July 10.
