Is Josh Gad’s New Post A Hint That He Is Playing The Penguin?

Actor Josh Gad has dropped a hint that he would be playing the infamous crime lord The Penguin in future movies of The DC Extended Universe (DCEU).  The information was made crystal clear to us when the 'Beauty and the Beast' (2017) actor posted a mysterious image on his Twitter account. He posted a photo of the famous Batman villain The Penguin on social media.

The actor also confused his fans when he posted the picture. Therefore, in order to find out the connections between Gad and DC Entertainment, his fans noticed that the executives from the studio, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns, have been following Gad for the past few months. In the comics, The Penguin, who is also known as Oswald Cobblepot, is shown as a Gotham City mobster.

The description on the DC Entertainment site read: "This is a villain fueled by a pathological rage that compels him to turn his odd physique, bird-like profile and awkward waddle into a well-dressed force for fear." Well, let’s see whether Gad who is best known for essaying comic roles in both live-action and animated films like Frozen, Love and Other Drugs, Pixels and the current Beauty and the Beast will be able to do justice to the role. So for that we have to wait and watch.
