It’s Finally Here. Rogue One: A Star Wars Story Trailer Released

As promised, Walt Disney Pictures and Lucasfilm revealed the trailer for the highly anticipated Star Wars film ‘Rogue One’. The trailer was aired during NBC’s coverage of the Rio Olympics. The trailer shows some action sequences from the film as well as a few details about the plot.

The film is lead by Felicity Jones who plays Jyn Erso, a member of the resistance. She, along with a few others, are tasked with stealing the plans for the Death Star. The trailer is sure to entice Star Wars fans and holds an epic surprise at the end. The movie also stars Mads Mikklesen, Diego Luna, Donnie Yen and Forest Whitaker, along with others.

Gareth Edwards is directing the film which will hit the screens on December 16. There will be a new Star Wars film every year till 2020. Fans of the epic saga will surely by stoked with the news.
