It’s Volcanoes This Time For Dwayne Johnson

It is known that the sequel to last year’s San Andreas is in the making. The movie will bring back Dwayne Johnson as the search and rescue helicopter pilot. While the original film had him in the middle of a massive earthquake, this time around, he will be going head to head with the entire Ring of Fire in the Pacific Ocean.

Returning from the original will be Carla Gugino, Alexandra Daddario and Paul Giamatti. The movie will be directed by Brad Peyton who also directed the first film. Neil Widener and Gavin James will pen the script for the sequel.

San Andreas was quite a success at the box office and grossed more than $470 million worldwide. Beau Flynn who produced the film will also produce the sequel. Dwayne will next be seen in the film Central Intelligence which will hit the screen on June 17. The actor might once again team up with director Brad for the classic video game adaptation Rampage.
