    I've Always Enjoyed Darker Stories: Bill Skarsgard

    Warner Bros. Pictures’ upcoming film ‘It’, which is an adaptation of Stephen King's horror novel by the same name, is all set to hit theatres this Friday. Produced by New Line Cinema, KatzSmith Productions, Lin Pictures and Vertigo Entertainment, the movie features Jaeden Lieberher and Bill Skarsgard in lead roles. Skarsgard will essay the role of Pennywise, a creepy clown.

    However, the actor said that he was very happy when he was offered he role as he always gets attracted towards darker and more mysterious stories. "I've always enjoyed darker, more mysterious stories, like many of those written by Stephen King. I read his novel 'It', which was an inspiration for me while preparing for the role," Skarsgard said in a statement.

    Talking about his role in the flick, the Atomic Blonde actor said, "Playing Pennywise was often physically exhausting. It was the most tiring thing I've ever done - there was a lot of noise and screaming and drooling, and I would be messing up my voice. As soon as Andy would yell cut, I'd be on the ground, breathing heavily." Directed by Andy Muschietti, the film will release in four languages in India, English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
