Jac Schaeffer To Pen The Script Of 'Black Widow'

Hollywood movie director Jac Schaeffer is known to have made her directorial debut with the 2009 movie TiMER, which was a feature movie. Schaeffer has also helmed the movie Mr. Stache in 2011. It seems like filmmaker will be penning the script of a superhero movie in the near future.

According to a story published on timesofindia.indiatimes.com, Jac is said to have been roped in by Marvel Studios to write the script for a solo ‘ Black Widow’ movie. It is also being said that the studio will be deciding whether to make the movie or not after analysing the script. The character of ‘Black Widow’ is portrayed by Scarlett Johansson.

She will be reprising her role in the upcoming ‘Avengers’ movies. This movie will be Marvel’s second movie which will star a woman in the lead character as a superhero after the Brie Larson-starrer ‘Captain Marvel’. Marvel has taken this initiative after witnessing the success of Wonder Woman, which was bankrolled by Marvel’s rivals DC Films.
