Jack Dylan Grazer Roped In For ‘Shazam’

‘It’ actor Jack Dylan Grazer has been approached to star in Warner Bros.-DC Entertainment ’s superhero movie ‘Shazam!’.  Apart from Jack Dylan Grazer, the film also features Zachary Levi and Asher Angel. Zachary Levi will play the titular role of Shazam.

Asher Angel will essay the role of Billy Baston, a young boy who turns into adult superhero the moment he utters the word Shazam. Grazer will portray Freddy, Billy Batson’s best friend. Freddy is the only person who knows the truth about Shazam.

David F. Sandberg will be at the helm of affairs of the project. Henry Gayden and Darren Lemke have penned down the script for the flick. The movie will be produced by Peter Safran, who also produced Annabelle: Creation and Aquaman. Jack is best known as hypchondriac and Losers Club member Edward “Eddie” Kaspbrak in ‘It.’ ‘It’ collected 694 million across the globe making it the highest grossing horror film ever. Grazer will next be seen in the drama film ‘Beautiful Boy’ along with Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet.
