After Daniel Craig refused to reprise his role as James Bond in the next instalment of the movie, the makers have zeroed in on a British guy as a replacement for Craig. As per the insiders, Craig had supposedly been offered $150 million to return for his role as James Bond in two back-to-back instalments of the blockbuster spy serial.

The films’ co-distributor Sony desperately wanted to retain the British actor’s services and didn’t want to lose him at such a crucial time in the franchise. However, things got unfavourable and the makers chose Britain-born actor Jack Huston to play the role of Craig in the 007 franchise. The makers were in hunt of a perfect actor who could take forward the franchise and they found Jack perfect.

The other names rumoured for the part are Golden Globe award winning actor Idris Elba, Michael Fassbender, Tom Hardy and Tom Hiddleston. Craig has earlier played Bond in 'Casino Royale', 'Quantum of Solace', 'Skyfall' and 'Spectre' in the series. On a related note, Jack played the title role in the 2016 historical drama Ben-Hur.
