Jack Nicholson Making A Comeback!

After groundbreaking performances in films like ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest’, ‘The Departed’ and ‘Batman’, Jack Nicholson is ready for comeback after almost 8 years, according to Variety. The actor will play the lead in a 'Toni Erdmann' remake which is being developed by Paramount Pictures. Nicholson was last seen in the 2010 film ‘How Do You Know’.

The original film, which came out last year, was directed by Maren Ade. The movie premiered at last year’s Cannes Film Festival and is up for an Oscar in the ‘Best Foreign Language Film’ category. ‘Toni Erdmann’ tells the story of a father who, in an attempt to reconnect with his daughter, ends up causing a lot of trouble in her professional life.

The remake will be produced by Jessica Elbuam, Adam McKay, Janine Jackowski, Will Ferrell and Jonas Dornbach. Variety has also reported that Kristen Wiig has been roped in as well, to play the second lead. This will be the first time Kristen shares screen space with the legendary actor.
