    Jake Weber Acknowledges The Poverty And Hardships Of India

    English star Jake Weber is known to have starred in movies such as White House Down, Meet Hoe Black and U-571. Weber is popular for his role as Brett O'Keefe in the Hollywood thriller series Homeland. The star recently talks about social issues in India such as poverty, hardship and sickness.



    Regarding his experience of the country as a child, he said, “I was in India when I was eight years old. My mother was living with a holy man somewhere in the mountains. And I have not been to India since then”.



    He further added, “I remember, as a child and I hope it is very different now, but as a child, I remember there was a lot of visible poverty, hardship and sickness and people on the streets. It was very sad”. The actor is also popular for other television series such as Medium and Hell on Wheels.
