    James Cameron Is Filming Four Consecutive 'Avatar' Sequels

    Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron is all set to make four consecutive ‘Avatar’ sequels, for which he has already started the production at Manhattan Beach in New York . And the latest reports reveal that this will be one of the most expensive projects, whose overall budget is estimated to be above USD 1 billion. This amount may seem to be too much, but there have been many films which were previously made with this kind of budget.



    Moreover, James Cameron’s first ‘Avatar’, which hit theatres in the year 2009, had grossed 2.7 Billion Dollars earlier. Moreover, the first sequel to ‘Avatar’ is slated to release on December 18, 2020, followed by the other two in December 2024 and 2025. Further, the first sequel will be released by Fox.



    Meanwhile, the filmmaker is successively shooting the epic sci-fi films. The film franchise stars actors Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Cliff Curtis, Oona Chaplin and Joel David Moore in the lead roles. On the work front, James is also working on his another upcoming film Alita: Battle Angel, which is slated to release next year.
