Noted Hollywood filmmaker James Cameron has said that the moveto re-release his blockbuster movie Titanic in 3D next week is done to remind people aboutthe wreck and its message" and not to cash in on the 100th anniversary of the disaster asaccused by many. The 57-year-old filmmaker said, "Look, there's always going to be peoplethat can criticize anything good. But frankly I think that remembering Titanic, rememberingthe history - that's what the film was there for. That's why I made it. The director said he wasfascinated by the story of the disaster, the heroic people who fought for their survival and thosewho lost their lives. I was genuinely touched by the tragedy when I was there at the wreck. Ithink the film is a good focusing agent for that at this time when we should be remembering thewreck and its message, the disaster and its message for all of us, he added.
