James Corden Joins Ocean’s Eight Cast

Deadline has reported that the newest addition to the cast of ‘Ocean’s Eight’ is actor, writer, producer, comedian James Corden. James is the current host of American talk show, The Late Show, which runs on CBS. ‘Ocean’s Eight’ is the spin-off of Steven Soderbergh’s Ocean’s Eleven trilogy.

By now, everyone is familiar with the fact that the movie will have a female ensemble, lead by Sandra Bullock. The crew includes Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Mindy Kaling, Sarah Paulson, Awkwafina, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter. While the female crew will get together to rob Sandra’s ex, James will play the role of an insurance investigator.

The movie is being directed by Gary Ross with screenplay by Olivia Milch. Soderbergh and Jon Kilik are producing the project. Warner Bros. Pictures will be distributing the film worldwide with Village Roadshow Pictures handling the distribution in select territories. ‘Ocean’s Eight’ will hit the screens sometime in summer of 2018.
