    James Earl Jones Replaced By Louis Gossett Jr. In ‘Foster Boy’ Drama

    Louis Gossett Jr. has replaced James Earl Jones to star as a judge in the reality-inspired feature film ‘Foster Boy’. According to reports, James left the movie as he got busy in other projects. Apart from Louis Gossett Jr., the film will also feature Matthew Modine and newcomer Shane Paul McGhie.



    The movie is a legal drama and revolves around a high-powered litigator who takes on the case of a disadvantaged African-American young man. They reveal the abuses of the for-profit foster care system. Louis will essay the role of Judge George Taylor in the film.



    The team has started shooting for the flick in Los Angeles. Other cast members include Julie Benz, Amy Brenneman, Greg Germann, Evan Handler, Jordan Belfi, Lex Scott Davis and Krystian Lyttle. Attorney-turned-screenwriter Jay Paul Deratany has penned down the script based on his experiences as a litigator in Chicago. Youssef Delara is at the helm of affairs for the project. Deratany, Peter Samuelson, Anne-Marie Mackay and Andrew Sugerman are producing it.
