Jamie Foxx’s Sleepless Gets A Release Date

The upcoming Jamie Foxx starrer ‘Sleepless’ will be released on February 24 next year, as announced by Open Road Films. The action thriller also stars True Detective actress Michelle Monaghan. Jamie plays the role of an undercover Las Vegas police officer named Vincent Downs.

Vincent will have to rescue his son from a crew of homicidal gangsters who kidnap him after a heist goes wrong. The cast for ‘Sleepless’ also includes rapper T.I., Dermot Mulroney, Gabrielle Union, David Harbour and Scoot McNairy. The screenplay for the film has been written by Andrea Berloff.

‘Sleepless’, directed by Baran Bo Odar, will be the remake of the French film ‘Nuit Blanche’. Jamie Foxx was last seen in the 2014 film ‘Annie ‘. He will also be seen in Edgar Wright’s ‘Baby Driver’ and Otto Bathurst’s ‘Robin Hood: Origins’. The former will be released on March 17 next year while the release date for the latter has not been announced as of yet.
