Jared Leto Offered A Lead In 'Bloodshot'! Is He Bidding Farewell To 'The Joker'?

American actor, singer-songwriter and director Jared Leto is known to have made a remarkable portrayal of the psychopathic ‘Joker’ in Suicide Squad. Although, it was being said that the actor’s screen time in the final cut of the movie was deleted at a very large extent. The disappointed actor pointed out his less screen-time as the reason for the movie’s failure.

So, it is known that Jared was not happy with the makers of Suicide Squad. Now, the rumours are churning that Sony Pictures is looking forward to rope the Fight Club star in the lead role of the movie adaptation of the comic ‘Bloodshot’. Sony’s Bloodshot is based on indie comic book publisher Valiant Entertainment’s IP.

Sony is known to have bought the Bloodshot series from Valiant back in 2012. The ‘Bloodshot’ project will be helmed by Dave Wilson and bankrolled by Neal Moritz. As of now, it is not confirmed whether Jared Leto will be taking up the role of ‘Bloodshot’ or continuing the role of ‘The Joker’ in yet to be directed movies affiliated to DC Comics.
