Bateman and Hall play a husband and wife who seek to reinvigorate their relationship with a fresh beginning in a new town, only to be have their life disrupted by a “friend” from the past. It’s a chilling and suspenseful journey that gives true meaning to the phrase “nothing is ever as it seems.” Rebecca Yeldham is co-producing with Jason Blum at Blumhouse. Bateman, who made the move to the director’s chair with 2013’s Bad Words, just wrapped his second film as director with The Family Fang, in which he stars with Nicole Kidman.
