Jason Momoa Might Star In The Crow Remake
Entertainment Weekly has reported that Jason Momoa is in talks to play the lead in the remake of 1994 film ‘The Crow’. The original film told the story of a young poet and guitarist who is brought back to life to take revenge on his killers. If the talks follow through, Jason will join the ranks of Ryan Reynolds and Ben Affleck – actors who have played two superheroes on screen.
The original film was directed by Alex Proyas and starred Brandon lee as the lead character Eric Draven. It became a cult movie because of the death of Brandon on the set, while shooting a scene. Brandon was supposed to get shot by a gun containing blanks but because of an accident or the crew’s carelessness, the dummy bullet that shot out of the gun hit Brandon with the same force as a normal real life bullet.
The remake for ‘The Crow’ has been in development for years and various actors have been associated with the project. Bradley Cooper and Jack Huston were two of them and now, it seems that Jason will be the next association. Let’s hope the project comes through this time.
