Jennifer Aniston Decides To Leap Back To Television

In the recent episode of ‘Chelsea’, actress Jennifer Aniston, who gained popularity after playing Rachel Green in popular TV show ‘Friends’ from 1994 to 2004, revealed that she is planning to return to small screen again. The A-lister who did not get a chance to play a regular part in TV, after Friends ended, plans to make her return by playing a full-fledged role. The Hollywood beauty was also seen doing cameos in series such as ‘Cougar Town’ and ‘30 Rock’.

During her interview with Variety, the 47-year-old said that “I’ve thought about it a lot. That’s where the work is. That’s where the quality is”. Besides this, the Cake star also added that it was fun shooting at outdoor locales, meeting new people when she had just begun her acting career. However, at this point of time the actress wants to do some wonderful stories and play exciting characters that would allow her to remain closer to home.

Aniston will be next seen playing the role of a mother to a young man who volunteers in Iraq war in the drama, ‘The Yellow Birds’. The movie which will hit the theatres on January 21, 2017 is produced by the star herself and is helmed by Alexandre Moors. The movie will also see Toni Collette and Alden Ehrenreich playing soldiers.
