    Jennifer Lawrence - the Oscar winning actress who rose to fame with the appearance in X-Men: First Class (2011) - has said that the latest instalment of the movie will be the last time she dons the scaly, blue body makeup to play the shape-shifting mutant Mystique. Speaking to MTV, the 24-year-old actress confirmed she will depart the role of Mystique once filming is complete. “It is my last one, actually,” she said. X-Men: Apocalypse will also see Nicholas Hoult reprising the Beast’s role in the comic book series for the last time.

    The movie - will be helmed by The Usual Suspects  (1995) and Valkyrie (2008) director Bryan Singer - will also feature James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Evan Peters, Oscar Isaac, Tye Sheridan and Sophie Turner.  The latest instalment of the series, X-Men: Apocalypse is slated to hit cinema halls on May 27, 2016.
