According to the latest updates, STXfilms has declared a holiday season for Jennifer Lopez’s romantic comedy titled Second Act. The film is all set to release on November 21 this year. The film is being directed by Peter Segal and stars Milo Ventimiglia, Leah Remini, Vanessa Hudgens and Treat Williams in the lead roles.

Moreover, it has been learned that Lopez will be playing the role of a big-box store employee who reinvents her life and her lifestyle. She tries to prove to Madison Avenue that street smarts are equally valuable as a college degree holder. Also, the film has been developed by STX with Lopez from an idea conceived by Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Justin Zackham.

Further, the script of the film has been penned by Elaine Goldsmith-Thomas and Justin Zackham, who also serves as producers along with Jennifer Lopez and Benny Medina. Meanwhile, this is the fourth film to land on the same date as MGM’s “Creed 2,” Disney’s “Wreck-It Ralph 2: Ralph Breaks the Internet.
