Jeremy Renner Getting Into Songwriting?

Arrival actor Jeremy Renner has expressed his desire to become a songwriter. He recently revealed that becoming a songwriter was his ambition, before he became an actor. The reason for this is that he wants to spend more time with his three-year-old daughter, Ava.

When asked why he wanted to get into songwriting, the actor replied, “To spend more time with my child... I've been doing music for years but I haven't released anything yet. That was my ambition before I became an actor”. Jeremy has been making some pop tunes in his home-built studio and his inspirations include Adele, Bruno Mars and the late singer Amy Winehouse.

“I've started recording more seriously recently and I might put it online”, he added. The 45-year-old feels that music, for him, is the ideal solution to 'scratch that creative itch’. Jeremy feels that even if he does not perform the songs, it will allow him to spend more time with his child. He recently posted an image of his big piano and a baby piano next to it, on Instagram.
