Jessica Chastain Desires To Star In 'It' Sequel

Latest reports reveal that Hollywood actress Jessica Chastain has urged to get the chance of starring in the much-anticipated Sequel of ‘IT’. Latest reports reveal that the actress has urged her desire to feature in the sequel to the blockbuster horror flick ‘IT’.When she was asked if she would like to play the role of Bev in the upcoming flick, this is what she said.

“Well, I love Andy and Barbara [Muschietti]. I worked with them on Andy's directorial debut, you know, his film, Mama”, said the Oscar-winning actress. Further, the film’s production will kick off next year, which will be bankrolled by Barbara Muschietti, Roy Lee, Dan Lin, Seth Grahame-Smith and David Katzenberg. She said, “His first film. And you know, Barbara is one of my best friends so, we'll see. Listen, of course, I want to work on it. They're my friends. They're like my family. Anything that they're doing I want to be a part of, so I hope we can make it happen”.

However, it has also been heard that other actresses such as Amy Adams have been mentioned, but Chastain’s relation with the director might help her get a role in this film. Moreover, Muschietti recently revealed publicly that he wants Chastain to play the older version of Beverly in the 'IT' sequel. The new versions will be written by Gary Dauberman and it will be Andy Muschietti directorial. Becoming one of the highest grosser among horror films, the first movie earned a whopping USD 677 million. Moreover, the IT sequel will hit theatres on September 6, 2019.
