Two time Academy Award nominee Jessica Chastain is in negotiations to join the feature film adaptation of Ubisoft‘s multiplayer game The Division. The Zero Dark Thirty actress will join Jake Gyllenhaal, who was previously announced to star in and produce the film alongside Ubisoft’s Gerard Guillemot. The film will follow in line with Ubisoft’s other upcoming adaptations, including Assassin’s Creed with Michael Fassbender and Splinter Cell with Tom Hardy.

The player, who is an agent of the Strategic Homeland Division, commonly referred to as simply “The Division,” is tasked with helping to rebuild the Division’s operations in Manhattan, investigating the nature of the outbreak and combating criminal activity in its wake."

Chastain was nominated for a couple of Academy Awards. One was for her leading role in Zero Dark Thirty, while the other was a supporting actress nod for her work in The Help. Jessica has more than a few projects on the way, including Miss Sloane on December 9, 2016, The Zookeeper's Wife on March 31, 2017, and will soon be starring in Aaron Sorkin's directorial debut Molly's Game with Idris Elba.
