Jim Carrey Opens Up About Girlfriend’s Suicide

Earlier this week, it was anounced that Cathriona White’s death was infact a suicide. Cathriona was Jim Carrey’s girlfriend till about three days before her death. Jim remained silent about the whole incident but has now finally decided to speak up. He feels that Cathriona’s autopsy report should not have been made public.

According to Peoplemagazine, Jim stated, “When I came to Hollywood to make it as a comedian, I soon learned that the details of my private life would be handed out to the media like free dinner vouchers. I never dreamed that the people I love most in the world would also be on the menu. What a shame”.

It was declared that Cathriona had taken multiple prescription drugs. Some of the painkillers that she took were actually prescribed to Jim. She left two notes, one regarding her belongings and the other was a more personal note for Jim.
