    Jodie Foster Was Scared Of Anthony Hopkins During Shoot Of ‘The Silence of the Lambs’

    ‘The Silence of the Lambs’ is one of the best thriller films of all times. The film released in 1991 and turned out to be a sleeper hit. It won the Big Five Academy Awards: Best Picture, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Adapted Screenplay.

    Anthony Hopkins and Jodie Foster delivered a performance which will be remembered for centuries. But while talking on the 'Graham Norton Show', the actress revealed that she was terrified of her co-star. Foster said that the two hardly spoke on the sets of the Jonathan Demme directorial.

    The Elysium actress shared that untill the end of the shoot of the horror-thriller film, she and Hopkins never spoke to each other. She said, "I never spoke to him because he was so scary. The first day, we had a read-through, and by the end of it I never wanted to talk to him again. I was petrified. We got to the end of the movie and really never had a conversation”. She added that on the last day of the shoot, when the Hannibal actor went up to her, she told him how scared she was of him. In reply, Hopkins said “But, I was scared of you”.
