After a few issues in its journey, Bad Boys 3 titled 'Bad Boys for Life' is now proceeding in the right direction. The movie will bring back the epic duo of Martin Lawrence and Will Smith. The first two films in the franchise were directed by Michael Bay, who will not be returning for the third one. Bad Boys for Life will be directed by Joe Carnahan who recently spoke about the project and praised the actors as well.

“There’s a lot of funny sh*t in this movie, and there’s also a very mysterious, but tonally spot-on story that I think is kind of perfect for where we are in this day and age, where the guys are and reflectively, a very modern take on these guys. It’s kind of what becomes of Bad Boys when they’re not boys anymore”, said the director. He also shared that he understands the pressure associated with the highly anticipated sequel.

According to io9-Gizmodo, Joe stated that the third part will be the strongest of the trilogy. Talking about the actors, the Smokin’ Aces director shared, “There’s only one Will Smith and one Martin Lawrence. You can’t replace those guys and I wouldn’t want to be involved if it wasn’t Will and Martin. They are that franchise”.

'Bad Boys for Life' will hit the screens on January 12, 2018.
