    John Oliver To Voice For Red-Billed Hornbill in ‘Lion King’

    John Oliver, who hosts popular TV show ‘Last Week Tonight’ has been approached by Jon Favreau for his live-action movie, ‘Lion King’. As per sources, the 40-year-old host will be lending his voice for the character of Zazu, the red-billed hornbill whose noteworthy achievements include advising two kings. The hornbill is also famous for having a lovely bunch of coconuts.

    Joining John will be Donald Glover, who will voice for Simba, James Earl Jones, who will lend his voice to the character of Musafa, Seth Rogen, who will voice for Pumbaa, and Billy Eichner who will be giving his voice to the character of Timon. 'Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales' writer Jeff Nathanson will be writing the script for the film. The flick has been produced by Favreau and Jeffrey Silver.

    The original 1996 animated picture saw Rowan Atkinson, who is popular for his role as Mr. Bean, voicing for horn bill, who served as a feathered political advisor to Simba and Mustafa. Well, this is not the first time that John will be giving his voice for a character in an animated movie. He has earlier done the voice work for The Simpsons, Gravity Falls, Bob’s Burgers, and Rick And Morty. He had even lent his voice for Vanity Smurf  in Sony's 'The Smurfs' and 'Smurfs 2'.  'Lion King' is expected to release on July 19, 2019.
