It was the day of the official world premiere of Disney's The Lone Ranger and a long red carpet was rolled out on the streets of Disney's California Adventure Park in Anaheim.

The event was thronged by a large number of fans who came there to have a glance at their favourites, Johnny Depp and Armie Hammer. But to add to their entertainment, they were delighted to watch shows by stilt walkers, jugglers and also some special appearances by Disney characters like Minnie Mouse. Hammer, who plays the role of the Lone Ranger in the film, was all praises for the Gore Verbinski-helmed big budget project.

He talked to THR from the red carpet, "It was really helpful. It was the difference between standing in the middle of the desert looking at some of the most beautiful scenery you can point a camera at and standing in an air conditioned room at some studio going, 'This is a lot of green fabric.’” He added, "It just made it that much more real, and hopefully, the audience feels it as well.” Hammer, the star of The Social Network and J. Edgar, was also very pleased with his co-star Depp, "He's such a great guy. Nicest guy in the world. He's fantastic.” For the film, the actors like Hammer, Ruth Wilson and James Badge Dale confessed to have spent time in a cowboy camp for several weeks. The Lone Ranger hits the cinemas on July 3.
