    Johnny Depp May Join The Cast Of Labyrinth

    Hip Hop industry’s two most celebrated and respected artists, Notorious B.I.G and Tupac Shakur, faced a mysterious death and till date, no one can confirm the events following up to the duo’s demise. The investigation was carried out by Los Angeles police detective Russell Poole. The tale has been written in a book titled ‘Labyrinth: A Detective Investigates the Murders of Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G, and now, a cinematic adaptation is underway. Reports have stated that Johnny Depp is in talks to play the detective.

    Russell Poole spent several months investigating the murder of B.I.G. In the end, he concluded that Suge Knight’s Death Row Records and a group of corrupt police officers were responsible for both the murders. Because of this result, the detective had a confrontation with the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD). Naturally, Poole had to step down and so he retired early.

    The screenplay for the cinematic adaptation has been written by Christian Contreras. According to Variety, the film will be directed by Brad Furman. Depp was last seen in ‘Alice Through the Looking Glass’ which was released on May 27 in the U.S.
